1. The short version
GiftCasher uses no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. We do not follow you around the web.
The only thing we store in your browser is what is needed to keep you signed in. Because that is strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, UK law does not require us to ask your consent for it — which is why you will not see a cookie banner on this site.
2. What we actually store
When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) saves your session in your browser's local storage — a mechanism similar to a cookie, and covered by the same rules.

That is the whole list. If you never sign in, we store nothing at all.
3. What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, and no other analytics product.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site or cross-device profiling.
- No storage that is shared with, or sold to, anyone.
4. Third parties
Two providers are involved in serving the site, each with its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — authentication and database (privacy policy).
- Vercel — hosting. Vercel keeps ordinary server request logs, which include IP addresses (privacy policy).
Neither is used to track you across other websites. If you follow an outbound link from our site or blog, the site you land on has its own cookies and its own policy.
5. Controlling what is stored
You can clear site data at any time in your browser's settings, and you can block storage for this site entirely. Blocking it prevents you from staying signed in, so your dashboard and balance will not work.
Signing out clears the session from your browser.
6. If this changes
If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and we will update this page first. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
